Mill Scale Removal from Pipe Spools

Project Overview

AK Industrial Services was hired by the general contractor to perform mill scale removal from new pipe spools prior to installation. The AK Team utilized 40,000 psi water coupled with a remote hose tractor to complete the work in a safe and controlled manner.

Since the pipe spools were not yet installed, the general contractor was able to transport the pipe spools to and from the AKIS yard for in-house hydrolasing.
