Whittier Bridge – I95 over Merrimack River

AKIS removed some newly installed, spray applied, waterproofing deck membrane from a previously paved area of a new bridge deck. The GC required the removal of the bridge deck membrane so they could a new pour concrete barrier.

AKIS utilized its ultra-high-pressure pumps with a deck blaster to remove the membrane without damaging the remaining concrete.
